Close the Bible. Write what you found from memory, no looking back. Producing it yourself is what moves truth from the page into you. This is the heaviest-lifting page in the book.
The Check-In
Every hunt ends with an instruction almost no book gives: wait a few days, then come back. The gap is what makes it stay. And the gap is where you catch the value actually showing up in your week.
Reflect questions that ask why
Not "how does this make you feel." Why is this true? Explaining a thing to yourself beats being handed the explanation, every time.

we didn't start with the science.
Full honesty: these hunts weren't built in a lab. They were built out of two problems. Mine was learning to love the Bible, and finding a way to come to it without shame. The one I kept seeing in everyone around me was confusion. They were carrying so many borrowed definitions of what success was supposed to look like that they never felt they could hit the mark. What we all needed was our own view, rooted in actual truth. God gave me a picture of how to get there, and I built the Scripture Scavenger Hunts led by the Holy Spirit, page by page.
The science came later. When the first hunt was finished, we held it up against the learning research, and the method was already there on every page. It wouldn't be the first time science showed up to prove something God designed.

what is a Scripture Scavenger Hunt, actually?
A Bible study, a devotional and a journal had a baby. Each hunt is built around one value, like Wisdom or Honesty. You go digging for what the Bible actually says about it instead of being handed the answer, write what you found in your own words, and come back a few days later to see where it showed up in your week. Still deep. Just not a lecture.
is it for adults or kids?
It was written for grown-ups, whether you opened a Bible for the first time last month or thirty years ago. A lot of parents ask if they can do it with their kids. Yes. Look the verses up together, let them answer in their own words, and skip anything that is over their head. The hunt does not care how old you are. It cares whether you go look.
do I need to know the Bible already?
No. You need a Bible and a pen. Every hunt tells you exactly where to look. Nobody is quizzing you and nobody is grading you.
which hunt do I start with?
Either one. They do not stack and there is no order. Pick the value you have been wrestling with lately. That is the one.
how is a hunt different from a devotional?
A devotional hands you the verse and the takeaway. A hunt hands you the reference and a question, then makes you go find the rest and write it down yourself. You remember what you find. That is the whole difference.
how long does a hunt take?
As long as you want. There are no dates on the pages and no day one through day thirty. Four mini hunts, a wrap-up, and a check-in you come back for after a few days. Your pace is the right pace.
can we do it as a group?
Yes. Solo works, and so does a couple of friends or a small group, each with their own copy. Group pricing is on each hunt's page.
what denomination is this?
None in particular. It is for anyone who wants to know why they believe what they believe and is willing to go look it up. The Bible does the talking.
